The best tips that you must know if you want to impress someone. If you want to impress you r boss or you want to impress your girlfriend/boyfriend, this is the perfect post for you
How to impress anyone? I know it’s a big question in everyone’s life. Everybody try to impress others by applying their skills or by showing various interests. But at the end of the day, it is seen that most of them get to fail and there is a vital reason behind that. In this video clip, he has provided a nice scenario to overcome this problem by showing three main steps.
The first and the most important step is to become a Connector Detector. The word ‘Connector’ plays a major role in our life. Every individual on this earth possesses a connector to which that emotional attached. For example, if you try to put a socket on a plug which is situated upside to it, the socket won’t get connected to the plug and if that same plug is situated downward with respect to the plug then also the socket won’t be able to connect to the plug. The socket must be put to the straight direction where the plug is placed. Let me elaborate it by sighting one more example. Suppose you are running a mobile shop. One of a customer come to you and says “it’s so irritating when the cell phone battery got low”.
Here the process of Connector Detector starts. To impress that person you need to act as a Connector for him by repeating his phrase, “Yes, sir it’s really very annoying when the battery of the cell phone got low”. You need to become a Connector not for your concern but for his point of view. You need to become ‘interested’ not ‘interesting’. A powerful tool to become a Connector is Parroting and paraphrasing as because it is not Communication, it is Comm-You-Nication which means To Convince.
The second step is the RAPP Analysis, consisting of Recreation, Aspiration, Profession and Problem. It’s not Sympathy but Empathy. It’s not about your content; it’s all about your intent. The RAPP Analysis must be done very carefully, like a crane search for his/her food in the lakes, rivers, and seas.
The third and final step is Building a Life Time Impression. The word ‘Impression’ has been derived from the word ‘Impress’ which has a Sanskrit meaning ‘Culture’. In terms of Management, it is called as Extreme Customer Delight. For example, there are several barber shops in your area but you always visit that one particular shop for having your haircut rather that is a bit far from your place comparative other barber shops. This means that the barber has convinced your mind for having your haircut.
