education related issues and guidance for teenagers and their parents. Don't let your child be the sheep that follows.
Whatever the issues may be, what must be the duty of the guardians? To direct their offspring towards the road of enlightenment of a brighter future? Aren't they doing that? Aren't they guiding us? Is there an example of any parent who is cheap in case of spending money on their child's future? The answer is NO, NEVER, NO WAY and all the negatively strong feeling words a person can think of, isn't it?
MY SON WILL BE THE NEXT EINSTEIN! |
I prefer to disagree. And after completely reading the article you probably will agree to disagree as well! If someone suddenly finds his child to prepare a science project in a way people can't even think of, the first sentence that is coming out of the mouth of any parent will be? No clue?Easy.
Despite the fact that almost every parent happens to forget is that the great Einstein was a school drop out. Would you want your child to end up like him in his academics now? And ya, please answer that question with as less hypocrisy as possible. Well? What was it? Don't tell me. I know. I have parents too.
The unseen regret of every single person no matter what or who they are will always be the age of our parents, our thinking will end up like them. It's like a pre-programmed software. No matter what the coding may be, you will end up following the same old basic principles. We live in a society of crabs where if someone tends to think a little off the grid, the society considers him to be a freak in many different ways thus the poor guy ends up losing the little spark he had in his childhood to be a genius. Who is responsible for that? Ask that first. Now, coming to the point. Let us increase our vocabulary today, shall we? So, what it means to be a literate guy and an educated guy? Let me tell you. According to me, being literate is a way of saying that you have a license to get a job, to get a home, to marry a girl(in the case of guys) and to speak to people who will listen to you. In a more specific way, we can say that it is a license for you to be a part of the so-called society. But the points we miss is that we learn how to, what to and what not to do during our jobs after we join and in time, we learn how to make an apartment our humble home or to be independent without the help of our parents for the first time after we move in, We start a new family with a complete stranger and then be as much comfy as we can get with her in time. We talk to the people of the society and in time learn how to interact with them. That's education!
Why not let your child be Sachin instead of Picasso, or Socrates instead of Ramanujan, or Einstein instead of Martin Luther king. What's important is not to have your child chase after a career but letting him find that career in his hobby and his passion in his skill? Is that too much to ask? Considering the fact that the life we are about to live is ours?
Everyone is a genius in his own way but if you ask a fish to climb a tree, he will say, " Go on buddy, the mental asylum is two blocks away"- Einstein
If you do what you like then you don't have to work even a day in your life- Confucius
So, agree to disagree with me now?
